NEET PREPARATION 2021

The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is a competitive exam for aspirants who want to take admissions in MBBS and BDS courses all over India. Every year a huge number of candidates register themselves for NEET.  And before preparing for any competitive exam candidates must have to know exam details that will help students for preparing for the exam.

AGE CRITERIA

the age limit is 17-25 years for general candidates and there is a special 5-year relaxation for students belongs to OBC, SC, and ST quota.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Candidate should qualify 12th with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with at least 50% in Physics, chemistry, and biology for students belongs to the General quota.

SUBJECT PATTERN

NEET-UG is only and of the toughest exams conducted for medical aspirants in India for admission into medical colleges. NEET exam is of 720 marks which consist of 180 MCQ questions based on three subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Biology. 50% of questions are from Biology, and the rest 50% are equally divided into physics and chemistry. For each correct answer, a candidate will get 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours. 

ABOUT NEET SYLLABUS

The first thing that aspirants must know about is the complete NEET 2021 syllabus. Candidates can compare the NEET syllabus with the board exam syllabus because there are some topics or chapters which are the same, so that, the candidate will not have to dedicate special time for preparation if, his/ her concept is clear about the topic.

Physics: Thermodynamics, Nuclear Physics, Mechanics, Optics.

Chemistry: Coordination Chemistry, Chemical Bonding, Mole Concept, Periodic Table, General Organic Chemistry. 

Biology: Basics of Biotechnology, Physiology of Animals & Plants, Genetics, Cell Biology, Morphology, Ecology & Environment, Reproduction.
